History will talk about him.
He represented Kuwaitis that put Kuwait before their business, unlike :S .. well many people
Allah yur7mmah.. He has seen a lot..
I just wish il3am Jassem would write an autobiography while he is in good health. These people have seen a lot.
3atham alla ajer il Kuwait
It's a shame that many of us youngsters don't know much about the real contributions of such men to Kuwait. All we get to see are the current government and parliament members.
Not in school did we learn about the infrastructure and history of our government, and not anywhere else. If this kind of education is restrcited only on social communities, it would vanish very easily with time.
I am very irritated with the ignorance that I hold about my own country. Where can I find true history of Kuwait documented? Any ideas on where I can start?

I hope they do, Otherwise a lot of our history will be lost for good.

It shameful, sad, and very dangerous indeed. When you omit people's role in making their country's history, you kill their patriotism and sense of belonging to it.
If you are in Kuwait, you could start with a visit to "dar Qortas" in "sooq almobarakya". You can also visit "Kuwait national library" (not to far from Dar Qortas) and have a look at their national archive, but I think you will need special permeation for that.
A beautiful tribute to someone well thought of. Lets hope his legacies lives on.
