Why is it that we are willing to fight for breaking our commitments,
more than fighting to keep them?

Why is it that we are willing to fight for breaking our commitments,
I don't know why I am here yet, but I am working on it.

Because it is easier to lose something than to hang on to it.
Keeping a commitment is a big responsibility I guess

ok, Love is commitment, friendship is commitment, marriage is commitment, parenthood is commitment, citizenship is commitment…etc. all are big responsibilitys, but I can't see how is it easier to let go of such things than fight to keep it?
Well that is the nature of the human beings! Thy choose the easiest path in life to walk in. How many marriages brokedown just cos one of them is not willing to fight a certain habit? And she or he chooses that habit over his or her partner?
How many love stories failed just cos one of them is afraid to face his or her parents having in mind that they won't ever agree no matter what with that decision and then he or she choose to give up?
And the same goes for the other commitments I guess.
Because people are too lazy to fight for the hard things. They want everything to be easy and for everything to come to them

Yeh, easy is cozy. I'll go for it any time. But I don't think that my life would have much meaning or value left to it if I keep running away from things hard to change.
Besides, some times when things and people in our life become so hard to change, we have to think if maybe, just maybe, it is us who need to be changed. This is what I call growing up.
